HP EliteBook 8540P Doesn't have dual channel RAM?

I wanted to replace the RAM of my laptop but it does not have 2 RAM slots (dual channel) Although even on the manufacturer's side of HP it says it has dual channel https://support.hp.com/.../c03412300

Can someone help me and tell me why this is so?

Since no RAM banks can be seen here, you have to open the notebook further until you have come across the RAM banks

Where should I look? Was it completely open?

The 2nd slot for main memory is located under the keyboard

Thanks for the answer. I have solved the problem

The second slot is then on the other side of the mainboard (under the keyboard), which is also the case with many Dell notebooks. At least with the older devices.
