How long does Expert provide warranty?

I bought on 30.06.2018 a laptop from HP at Expert, which unfortunately has now clearly broken because of wear. At HP on the side, I have already seen that the manufacturer has expired warranty. What's up with Expert? Unfortunately, I could not find anything, I have 1 year warranty also very little for a device which is in daily use.

Wear is not a "warranty reason" anyway. So it does not matter.

Have just googled your statement, probably not true. 🤔

Liability for defects.

After expiry of the first six months to two years after delivery of the purchased item: Here, the buyer must prove that a defect existed from the beginning.

By the way, if both agree that the defect existed from the beginning, then no proof is needed. In case of deficiencies, you should in any case firstly request repair or new delivery. For this we provide a https://www.verbraucherzentrale.de/sites/default/files/migration_files/media45581A.pdf.

What is broken? Usually you have 2 years warranty. (Except battery)

We also had an HP laptop and I phoned the service and complained about the one year warranty. She had just expired two months.

When I said if I had known that I had not bought a half board, they repaired it out of goodwill.

But. Then you have probably read something wrong…

Wear is not subject to the warranty see § 365 BGB.

Batteries e.g. Are susceptible to wear and therefore can't be treated according to § 365 BGB. Any Discharge and Charging Exhausted battery and the chemicals in the battery are not eternally durable. This just as an example. Even with smartphones with built-in battery, there's only one about 3-6 months (depending on the manufacturer) "exchange service". Even if here after e.g. 7 or 8 months the battery in the device is defective, the owner for the repair or replacement numbers must Incl. Repair costs.

Ex

Triopasi is right. Never use the word wear. Wear is normal on any device, due to use and aging, and is not covered by any warranty or warranty.

The warranty covers defects caused by defective parts or assembly and reported within the warranty period.

So ask for goodwill.
