My good old laptop (Lenovo Y700) is now several years old and creates GTA 5 with all graphics settings at maximum at a constant 30-40FPS. (And that cost 750 euro back then)
So if you can raise money somewhere I would recommend you to add 100 euro and then buy a slightly better laptop. In the range of 500-800 euro, the differences in performance are, according to experience, rather drastic.
but everything depends on what you use it for. At Word and Powerpoint, the laptops at the top are perfect.

That is not completly correct. The performance differences for Office as the questioner wants are not particularly large in the price range, rather at 400-500 euro.
