I would like to reset my current PC and have never done something like that.
And I wanted to ask you what else I could keep in mind & whether these are the right drivers for my motherboard!
And how I should proceed exactly, especially which drivers are very important in the beginning.
My fear is that if I reset the PC and no Windows is going to be any problems and I stand there with a PC where Windows is no longer working. Have always been easy system reset to factory settings, but after 8 years, it's time I put the system again.
I already know how to prepare a stick.
System:
Windows 7 Home Premium
i5 2500, socket 1155
8Gb Ram DDR3
Motherboard: Pegatron Model: IPMSB-GS (Brand American Megatrends Inc. Version 0212, date 02/22/2011)
nvidia GTX 1050 Ti
Are these the right drivers for my mainboard? Did not find a correct page: https://www.driverscape.com/manufacturers/wortmann/laptops-desktops/ipmsb-gs/38986
Actually, you do not have to pay special attention. When installing "I do not have a key" (because windows was already installed, it will automatically activate after installation). But if you have a key, it does not hurt to enter it. Driver you do not need any first. The Windows gets automatically (at least the basic driver)
1) Make backup copy of all important items
2) optionally download the drivers before, to find these are almost always on the manufacturer side. Tip the name and model of your hardware and you will be redirected.
3) Insert the USB stick, restart the PC
He either recognizes the USB stick as a bootable medium and you are led to the installation
-or you have to manually change your BIOS and boot order to boot from the stick
4) Install Windoof, delete all existing hard disk partitions including their contents and create clean ones. Windows creates itself the necessary partitions
5) after installation, connect LAN cables and have updates and drivers pulled, i.d.R. Automatically
Drivers are there actually at the PC manufacturer, that certainly belongs to a FertigPC. But those in your link should fit.
Drivers for the GTX are available at Nvidia.
