I need help. For some reason, my headphones do not work on my laptop anymore. They are not broken because they walk normally on my phone. I have already looked on the internet because of device manager etc but they say something with playback list and and and. That is not synonymous with me. It would be nice if someone could help me.
You probably just (why, always, perhaps through an update) another speaker / headphones selected as a standard device. You just go to the settings for it (Control Panel → Hardware and Sound → Sound) under the tab Playback you can see all your connected playback devices, you choose you just right-click to use as a standard device and then the device is used as far as you have always. If you do not know which headphones are you just try. If you pull out the headphones should in any case, the laptop speakers come on, if you have nothing connected via HDMI, etc.
Some laptops have also nasty a hidden volume control somewhere on the housing, which you can adjust from time to time. It is often such a small spin, somewhere in front or at the side, good if you have the manual at hand.
