Can I use word for free?

Hi, I bought a laptop for high school and now I want to use word. But it says "unlicensed product". What does that mean? Do I have to pay?

Yes, you need to purchase a paid license for Word. But there are special office licenses for schoolchildren and students that are significantly cheaper.

But you could also use LibreOffice or OpenOffice, for example. You don't pay anything, unless you want to make a donation to the developers.

Just take the free open office and save the files in Word .doc format

Word isn't free.

Vlt. OpenOffice is also enough for you.
