Unlikely could be the film / series or the laptop but so boring would be no hacker to turn only louder and quieter

A hacker actually wants to go undetected so he can access your saved passwords. It makes no sense if he is so conspicuous and gets caught.
Nevertheless, I would scan the laptop with Malwarebytes and ADWcleaner.
Maybe it's because of the operating system or something like that. Is there an update?
