I wanted to turn on my laptop and somehow it doesn't do anything, the screen doesn't show anything even though it is on, it can't be switched off, nor does it work on the mains. What can I do? It's from the thinkpad brand.
Buy yourself a new one!
It can no longer be switched off
then stay on the power button for a long time - or take out the battery
It's from the thinkpad brand
nice, luckily that doesn't limit it ^^
It stays on even though the battery is out
Then he will probably have a second, internal battery…
No, it doesn't have to be. And Thinkpads in particular are easy to repair in case of doubt.
However, a diagnosis - especially with the description of the error (you haven't even been able to name the model) - is simply not possible over the Internet
Lenovo but I don't know which one got it for free
You say Thinkpad. Just look in the lower right corner, directly below the screen
As read above, the LENOVO thinkpad can be safely switched off by removing the battery. Of course, first disconnect the power supply, then you have to reveal which model you have. It may be that the box has a second internal battery. At Fujitsu there are e.g. Batteries instead of the DVD drive, maybe Lenovo does the same for some boxes. At least it won't have an integrated nuclear reactor.
If you press the power button for 5-6 seconds, most laptops will restart completely. So, they shut down and restart.
Try it.
Does it work?
