Surface Pro 6, recommended for study?

6

Wanted to buy the Surface Pro 6 for my studies. Why I do not want a laptop is because I can't type very fast and the Surface can be used a pen. What only worries me is the battery life, which is considered by many to be bad.

Do you think the Surface is a good option for studying?

I'm using a Surface Pro 3 for study, the battery is pretty decrepit by now, but especially when I use it for writing, it lasts a long time.

Sure, when you watch videos or even play games, it's pretty fast empty, but as I said, it's usually not a problem writing.

I can also confirm that writing with the pen is much faster and more enjoyable. Especially when the Prof draws something or sketched, you can just take it directly, rather than something in Word something funny to tinker together. Even if you want to calculate something, you can write down bills as normal. My Profs upload their slides always before the lecture, which I then place in OneNote and write with the pen in and next to the script of the Prof.

Personally, I have a surface pro 4, the battery is quite a working day for me (which can sometimes be up to 12 hours), although I'm not permanently sitting on it and write something. At continuous work with office programs my surface creates about 6h. When I edit photos about 4h.

Thanks, helped me a lot

That sounds sufficient in any case

If necessary, there are also power banks which double the battery life again.

Yes, the problem is with those. I forget the constant charge.
