I installed Chrome OS with Neverware on my SD card and when I plug it into my notebook, the Bios does not recognize the SD card.
The slot for the SD card is not specified in the boot menu. This is the case with many notebooks. Either way, it is only used to read or process data on the cards. Just take a USB stick and put on it what you want to boot. USB ports, of which most notebooks can boot (external storage medium).
So is there no way with an SD card?
No, even my 10 year old Sony Vaio laptop VPCCA in green can only read SD cards and not boot from it. This is no problem with the USB stick.
There are also adapters from SD card to USB
