I have a new laptop, which is without operating system (Freedos). So I bought Windows 10 online and now have the following problem: It has to be installed with the Media Creation Tool, but it does not recognize my USB stick and would like to load it on my old laptop. But this requires 8 GB of memory, which I can't get rid of because the old one only has 32 GB. Then I wanted to install the iso-file and then make it with rufus, but that was not synonymous, because I thought, I load the iso-file from the phone to the stick, but there's always "waiting for network". Does anyone have any idea what I could do? Please do not write so complicated, because I do not know so well.

This is already possible with Rufus without problems.
then boot from the USB stick
As I said I do not get the ISO file on the stick
Neither the Media Creationstool nor Rufus install anything.
The Media Creation tool only downloads the ISO and creates a bootable USB stick. You need an 8GB USB stick and enough space on the HDD.
You can't simply download the ISO directly onto the stick. Try to do it all on a laptop / PC with a friend.
Win 10 can't be that hard.
The SD must of course be bootable. Otherwise, if it is detected, no problem.
Is set in the bios.
Why does everyone here think that a PC is Lego?
This has something to do with knowledge and knowledge.
Not everybody knows about it and if they are not willing to help anyway, they will not answer. Very easily.
If I do that with someone else, can't I do it anyway?
Do all your friends have the same laptop with no storage space, or why is not it possible for others?
No matter, I already have it
