I booked the 1000Mbit / s contract from unitymedia / Vodafone 7 months ago (cable contract on the Vodafone station) and everything works, but with a slightly higher ping for online games.
But now I have changed my room and am still further away, I had a 15 meter long LAN cable before. The Wi-Fi is bad here and only partially arrives and does not work properly.
Is there any solution to this? I definitely want a good and stable internet and my laptop should of course reach 1000Mbit / s otherwise it would be unnecessary to pay more.
What would you recommend? I have heard of Powerline or Repeater but I'm not familiar with such things.
I want to achieve these values as described.
Or should I just get a 25 meter LAN cable?
But the option shouldn't be very expensive.
I would just buy a longer cable straight away.
Longer cable, doesn't cost much and will solve the problem. Powerline is of course more expensive, and the performance can vary depending on the type of electrical installation.
But does it not have any disadvantages in terms of download, upload and ping?
At least not as much as with Wi-Fi. That one likes to fluctuate a lot.
Do not use a powerline that often works very poorly depending on the house wiring.
If at all possible, lay LAN cables and use an access point for WLAN
if that is not possible buy Mesh Wi-Fi, but this is not suitable for gaming.
Here are some good mesh kits:

LAN cables are more efficient - even over a distance. With Powerline you have to see what the circuit looks like, it is not isolated and susceptible to interference and only half-duplex (50% loss).
And with Powerline, the data will probably have to travel a longer distance than 25 meters with a poorer line.
There's nothing like a decent cat6 ethernet cable
get the cable; you will only buy it once and enjoy it for a long time
