A friend has a self-made film of 19GB on her notebook. We wanted to save this on a 32GB USB stick. The message appears that the file is too large for the volume. Does anyone have an explanation for that? Format would be MP4.

Please in simple words, I'm unfortunately not a specialist.

Because FAT32 can only contain data with the maximum size of 4GB.

Format USB stick into other format, e.g. NTFS or exFAT.

Is there enough space left on the stick?

You see, they are a specialist. It does not mean anything to me, can you tell me how it works?

En

Right-click on the USB stick in the Windows Explorer then on Format… Click ATTENTION all data on the stick will be deleted. Select ExFAT on the file system and click

Thanks for the answer.
