Microsoft Surface Pro or laptop 3?

I'm currently a student and want to buy a laptop for my studies and later for my job. Since I'm studying for a teaching degree, I would not have to pay attention to certain characteristics like someone who studies computer science or something.

Of course, it has to fulfill everything that my current main computer does, such as office work, streaming, storing photos & music etc.

I know that there are much cheaper options for my needs. However, I opted for quality because I want to use my laptop for many years. Comments regarding other brands are therefore not welcome.

I would like to work with the pen as often as possible, be it marking text or taking notes. I think the Pro model would be more suitable for this, but I doubt that it will perform as well as a laptop.

The laptop would also appeal to me because of the screen size, the connections and the battery life, but since the screen is not foldable 180 ° I think working with pen is more difficult.

Does anyone have experience with one of the devices (Pro 7, X or Laptop 3) and could help me?

Mac doesn't work? The current Microsoft devices are unfortunately not that good

The Asus Zenbooks pros are also very good and start from around 1100

I also thought about getting it, but until now I only had the Microsoft operating system and would rather switch to the MacBook

Then I would definitely wait for the Zenbooks with the 10 gen Intel, they are again significantly faster than the predecessors
