Keyboard interrupts letter input and the last letter pressed then appears several times. Does anyone know what that could be?

I connected my keyboard (Logitec K310) and mouse (Logitec MX anywhere 2S) to my Surface via a Thinkpad docking station.

Sometimes the keyboard interrupts the input and immediately afterwards the last letter typed is played back several times. From time to time the mouse "lags".

The input would then look like this:

"k31111111111111111110"

"hallo"

Can someone tell me what could be causing this?

In other words, consider replacing the keyboard. Keyboards can only withstand a certain number of keystrokes.
