I have a laptop and I have a self-made bootable Windows 7 USB stick. But whenever I let the stick boot, it sticks to the "Starting Windows" screen. The Windows 7 icon is also not visible.
Then the stick is not bootable.
Just make a new one.
Here is the best tool.
I already tried it with the tool, then it was not recognized. I tried Rufus and I came to the result described above.
Is Usb turned on at all?
Just try it with a DVD, I had ever. USB did not go but DVD.
The stick created via Rufus is recognized as a boot medium. That is not the problem. I can't try DVD because my laptop does not have a CD / DVD drive. That's why I rely on USB, unfortunately.
32/64 bit right?
I try to install the 64-bit version. The 32-bit version is not recognized as a bootable medium.
Then make a bootable 32 version.
It does not work. 32-bit version can't be made bootable for pure UEFI systems with Rufus. My laptop only recognizes 64-bit versions. No idea why.
I do not have a key yet. I'll buy it only when it's installed. Otherwise, the 5-10 euro would be set in the sand.
