No sound and no microphone in team meetings?

I have to use Microsoft Teams for school. The sound always works on my laptop and everything works even when I use the test call to teams.

As soon as I go into a meeting, I have no sound and others only hear a hissing noise from me.

Does anyone have any idea why this could be?

Are you sure you turned it on and just mumbled there?

When the meeting has started, you may have to release the microphone again in the Teams app.

Or have a look in the windows settings under security and data protection whether teams have access!
