I need a laptop for school etc. But have no idea about laptops. So my question is whether someone is familiar with it and could recommend a laptop with a good price-performance ratio.
Please not over 500 euro
What do you need it for? Do you want to be able to play something on it too or just edit documents and do video conferences?
I don't want to name a specific model now, but for now, if you want a cheap laptop, I would recommend a used one. There are many high-quality Lenovo notebooks available at very affordable prices, although they have already been used.
Can take a look here: https://www.techradar.com/...nts-983385
Get a used Lenovo or Toshiba with SSD and at least 8GB RAM
Use Adobe Photoshop and would probably also install a few games like Minecraft etc.
The 2 in front of me are talking about a used Lenovo, but there are also new Lenovos for up to 500 euro.
At least 8GB of RAM is mandatory, a processor such as Ryzen 5 or Intel Core i5, depending on which brand you choose, should be sufficient.
Thank you!
I'm not sure yet whether I'll get a new one or a used one.
The used ones probably have a very bad battery.
How expensive is such a battery for e.g. A Lenovo?
I have to say that I haven't had a good experience with the battery even on a new Lenovo. Bought a new laptop, fully charged it and the battery drained very quickly. I brought the part back the next day and got one for 300 euro more. I'm completely satisfied with that
Which one do you have And the price?
You can see if you can find a good used laptop.
I would look for a laptop with a Ryzen 5 or an Intel i5. An SSD should be included as well as 8GB Ram. I think that will be quite enough.
Here is a comparison:

so in the way i would take the hardware. But maybe also look for used ones with the same hardware. You can save yourself some money there
Now i have one from huawei for 800
The decisive factor was the quality of the camera. Got him at the beginning of the pandemic for conferences and stuff
