I would like to pull music from the laptop to a USB stick. For example, Turn on NDR 2 on laptop and dub. I was not baked. On Youtube I have not found what I need or is too complicated.
I'm looking for an easy way, just as you could earlier cut from radio to tape. Can you help me?
Download and install Audacity
Close all programs that could produce sounds.
Start Audacity
As the recording source, select the system sound output. Possibly. Are this settings in the operating system necessary. Depending on what you have.
Start recording in Audacity
Start NDR stream.
Set the volume of the playing program to exactly 100%.
Now it should be recorded.
This is easiest with the VLC Media Player. So you can play web radio and record synonymous. It works like this:
Download and install VLC Media Player: https://www.vlc.de/
Start VLC Media Player. Then you go to view. There, activate the items Advanced control and Status bar. Now another bar appears with a recording button.
Then go to Tools> Settings. You click on input / codecs. There at the recording directory or file name select a folder where the recordings are to be saved. I recommend in the folder Music to create a subfolder with the name recordings and then select this.
Here is a list of web radio station stream URLs: https://www.stream-urls.de/webradio Select a station. I go for example From SWR3. There, the stream URL is http://mp3-live.swr3.de/swr3_m.m3u Copy this. Or you can download the M3U file. These then simply open with the VLC player. Then you do not need to do step 5.
In VLC Media Player, go to Media> Open Network Stream. There, click in the address bar and then right-click Paste.
Click on Play. Now you can hear the web radio. If you want to record something now, click on the red record button. To stop recording, click on the record button again. In the specified folder the recordings are named after date / time.
Only the sound of the stream and no other sound is recorded.
P.S. The VLC player can record all streams, whether radio or TV. Also the webcam.
That's exactly what's too complicated for me. I already saw on Youtube. I turn 68 and got a laptop when I retired, never had anything to do with a PC at work. I'm glad that I have appropriated the most important things to me.
Previously, you have 2 - 3 devices connected by plug and then it worked. Nevertheless, thanks for your trouble.

That's the easiest way.
It's just the first Ma so complicated.
Let it set up by acquaintances once.
Once that's done, then in future recordings you just have to press REC and then record what can be heard from the PC speakers.
Maybe another question: Why do you want to record NDR (or even from the radio)?
Is it worth it?
What do you want with old news, traffic information, etc? And the music is the same every day anyway.
Most of the songs you can listen to on YouTube with video. And that in unabridged form without traffic interruption.
For Youtube, there's also something very simple. If you have Firefox, just install this Firefox extension: https://addons.mozilla.org/...converter/
Then simply call up the desired one on Youtube and click on the button Download MP3 and you have it. You do not need to make any settings.
Downloading on Youtube is allowed for purely private purposes.
Thanks for asking. For me NDR 2 is about the broadcast from 21 - 00 o'clock on Saturday and is called NDR 2 Sound - Check Party. Probably. Is it the music for about 20 years, but I find the groove and the sound about 80% crazy. I know, something unusual for me. Was once a couple of years as a DJ, have announced every song in the micro and information and provided for mood, so not only plates.
I like certain music that can be hits, cuddly songs, rock, oldies, hipp hop, electronic music, black soul. Music used to be my first hobby. I bought a sound machine from my first job as a journeyman. Have a professional keyboard, but have not played for about 8 years.
But only by the way. I actually wanted to record the above-mentioned transmitter on Stick to play it in the car radio. I just talked to a 22 year old and he said that this species - as suggested by you - would be contaminated with viruses, Sportyfi should take. Can't allow me to judge it.
As an addendum it should be mentioned that I do not prefer a certain interpreter. Think that I always have to choose a soloist on Youtube, but I like the mix of different artists.
The virus is absolute nonsense! Since you have probably picked the wrong person to ask you.
Audacity is an official recording software that I use a lot myself.
https://www.audacity.de/
Spotify is a streaming service. There too you can listen to music.
There are also mixes on Youtube with several songs in it. For different music styles
