Why is my external USB DVD drive no longer recognized?

I have a laptop from Winnovo with Windows 10 without a DVD drive. That's why I ordered an external DVD drive from PATISZON. The drive has worked well for a month with small dropouts. Now the drive is no longer recognized. Although the light is on and it makes noise. What can this be? I've already tried everything. How to pull out and back in and plug in or restart the laptop. And searched the device in Device Manager. What else can I do? I'm grateful for answers.

Also plug in another drive to USB. If the other drive work then the problem is with your old drive -> old in the bin, buy new.
