Laptop suddenly has only 20-40 FPS instead of 70-120 in games?

So initial situation (read the whole question!):

Laptop: Medion Ereazer X6603
Graphics card: Nvidea Geforce GTX 1050ti
CPU: Intel Core I7-7700HQ
RAM: 16 GB DDRR
Hard drive: 128 GB SSD and 1 TB HDD
Windows 10

For a few days, as described in the title above, I have only had a little "FPS" and no idea what that might mean! I have already reinstalled the video card drivers (several times and older versions), and tried some other things (game data checks, etc…). The problem occurs in all games (Rainbow Six wins, CS: GO, FIFA, Black OPS 4, …) so not just one, which means that it actually has to lie on the laptop itself. I have not reset Windows because I need the laptop for the school, also not had so much time and actually want to choose the reset of Windows as the last option!

I would like to say that I know quite well, in the sense of I go to an information school, should not sound overbearing xD. And please do not start writing: "The laptop is unnecessary for the school and not suitable for play". Please only answers to my problem! First, I have a stand PC, but I have to share it with my brother and there's the laptop every now and then as a backup device quite handy if both want to play.

You have probably captured something, put on a new and make a backup when you have everything set up again. So everyone does that knowing. Is just microsoft.

if it still is like that, hardware broke down.

In general, but you could see how full your hard disks are. Task mananger open and watch what the system charged etc

La

The notebook sounds pretty good. If you share it with your Bro, he may have caught up with what? Check.

If you do not have tons of projects on your notebook and the scores are in the cloud anyway or can be copied elsewhere. Stop it again.

Do you want that still does not exist yet "chkdsk / f / r" and sfc / scannow "what you can taste, as well as everything currently unplayed to uninstall.

At the top I would like to set up a good anti-virus software.

wa

Like Kaspersky?

La

For example, However, in the paid version.

I can also recommend ^^

Th

1. Look, that the games are running with the Nvidia card, as already described, if that does not help:

2. Install Msi Afterburner, check workload and temperatures, maybe the thermal grease is over.

3. Replace thermal grease.

4. Maybe a process will pull the power of your CPU, just look at it in the task manager to see the load when no program is open.

Da

I have a funny way anyway the Kaspersky

Da

Usage is quite normal when playing, and I really want to deal with somehow at the moment. Since I meanwhile need him for the school but during the holidays I will do that too

La

The other things tried? What does the disk usage say?

Da

Sry wanted Helpful squeezed squeezed me did not solve the problem but I tried it

Th

Hmm, how high are the temperatures when gambling? Disable the virus program and then play a round, is it better then?

Da

I tried all things now and unfortunately it did not work. Appearance really only helps to rebuild Windows

Da

Unfortunately, that did not do any good either

Th

How high are the temperatures now?

Da

Right now, have the laptop now reset overnight and that has apparently resolved the problem Thanks for the help

Th

Yes, that helps too. No problem.

The load that makes you look like a pest, but you do not see to 90%, because they hide from the task manager, otherwise it would be too easy.
