You confuse mbit with mbyte.

120mbit / s what your router tells you are the 15mbyte / s that your speed test / laptop tell you.

1 byte are = 8 bits

That means 120mbit / s by 8 is 15mbyte / s

Are you sure you don't confuse mbits with MB / s?

15 mb / s is exactly 120 mbit / s

Check the displayed units. The capacity of a line is generally Specified in (mega) bit / s, the download in (mega) byte / s. Bit is often written out, byte abbreviated with a capital B.
