Bookmark laptop on mobile and vice versa?

I'd like to transfer my bookmarks from my phone to my laptop, as well as my bookmarks from my laptop to my phone via Google Account.
I was always looking for how to do that until I came to the Google support page. I followed their steps and activated this synchronization on my mobile phone as well as on my laptop, but only old bookmarks are displayed on my mobile phone, which I actually deleted long ago and nothing changes on my laptop.

Could you help me?

Do that via the "Browser" export / import bookmarks.

Unfortunately, you do not write about what you use - so you have to once "goggle" how to export the bookmarks for the browser relevant to you.
