Keep iPad Pro as a laptop or pc?

Since I will be traveling a lot soon, I will sell my pc. Now I'm considering buying the new iPad Pro. Unfortunately I don't know if I can continue programming there. Or do you recommend me something better? My budget is between 1.5-2.0k

Apple is really great, but as soon as you try to do something or install something that has not been approved by Apple, you can completely forget it. Of course you can also install a Windows emulator, but then you can buy a laptop with Windows directly.
