Slight under or over voltage - which is better?

I want to connect a laptop to a 12 volt source. The laptop needs 19.4 volts, but the voltage converter delivers either 18.8 volts or 19.9 volts. Which voltage would be better to choose?

In case of doubt, I would prefer the slight undervoltage. But such small deviations are meaningless anyway.

Overvoltages can damage the hardware. Undervoltage can only impair the function. It depends on the experiment.
