A buddy wants to sell his laptop on ebay. The problem is the access data. I want the laptop to start up without having to enter the password.
How do I do that?

Just reset the laptop. Then the new owner just came back in.

Because I had no other option to prevent this at the moment of setting up. It was said to log in with a microsoft account
You don't have to register.
You missed something. There's an option to do this later.
And why do you have to pre-install Windows?
The new owner can (and should!) Prefer to do that himself.
The furnishings must also be made by the new owner.
It's best to reinstall and leave out the facility.
It's pretty easy.
Go to Settings> Accounts> Sign In Options> Password> Select "Never".
This setting can be reset at any time.
Since MS recently requires an MS account for the installation, you have to disconnect all connections to the Internet when installing Win 10. So no network cable and Wi-Fi should be switched off for a short time.
