My rx Vega 56 has 1 HDMI and 3 DisplayPort 1.4 HDR ports.
My monitor has 1 HDMI and 1 dual-link DVI port.

I would like to play on 144HZ and HDMI cables are not able to do this unfortunately, I can't use my DVI plug.

Can I buy such an adapter https://www.amazon.de/...07NGMD9NW/

And then plug it into the video card, my HDMI cable in the adapter and then in my monitor?
Is it possible to play on 144HZ? Another option would be to buy a new monitor

An

144 Hz you can only with Displayport or DVI-D.

So the answer is NO, do not work!

1920x1080 (1080p, Full HD) @ 144 Hz

Is it in the product description

So if your monitor supports HDMI 1.4b and the graphics card DP 1.2 that should not be a problem

Fi

Not correct. At 1920x1080 pixels, 144hz is theoretically supported as of HDMI Version 1.3.

An

Theoretically, practically still puff cake.

In the newer versions like 2.0 (2013 released) it is no longer a problem at all. Therefore, your answer is simply wrong.

An

My iiyama G-Master GB2488HSU-B2 e.g. Is capable of 144 Hz.

Works only via DP or DVI-D. NOT with HDMI. Can you also read this on the manufacturer's side, if you want to persuade me now that it must work.

And so it is currently still with most screens. Either via DP or DVI-D

And if his screen does not even have Displayport, then I'm just going to say that he is "older", and also does not support the 144 Hz via HDMI.

Of course, you only have certainty when the questioner calls his screen.
