I bought the Recon 50 p headset from Turtle Beach. I have the following problem:
I can hear sound but I can't use the microphone and the headset is not displayed in the settings. I connected it to my laptop (Windows 10). Plugged into the right connection and I'm uncomfortable.
Laptop is a lenovo.

The problem is the combination plug of the headset. If the audio input of the laptop is not designed for combo connections, then you can only connect headphones or speakers - or either / or, unless your Lenovo has separate audio inputs and outputs. You need a headset with a USB port.
It was the same with my headphones at first. I solved the problem by uninstalling the audio driver in the device manager and then clicking on "search for hardware changes".

Yes. The @ThedOLIVERator trick could also work, but it's worth a try. Without details on the exact Lenovo model, that's guesswork.
