I want to connect my printer to the laptop (Wi-Fi) using the pin method.
I enter the 8-digit code from the printer, but it does not connect and I get the message that Windows can't get the network settings from the router).

You have to connect the printer to your Wi-Fi network from the router, this is what you use to access the internet with your laptop.
When that's done, there's a high chance that Windows will take care of the rest.
