Could it be that games like state of decay 2 or witch crash and close due to the lack of a LAN cable with Wi-Fi connection or why is it?

I recently started using the Lenovo l340 gaming notebook with a n7 generation i7 processor, nvidea GTX 1650 4 GB graphics card, 8 GB RAM.

So for games like witch IT or state of decay 2 and most other games completely sufficient.

But with state of decay 2 the game often closes and I don't get an error message or if it does 1006 or network error 3 or 4.

At witch IT, too, I'm thrown out of the game. Say the game simply closes after a short playing time.

My fear is that it is due to the WLAN. Am I correct? Or what can it be?

Other games such as Grip or Forza 4 work without crashing.

LAN cable has been ordered now and will probably come tomorrow.
