Is this laptop good for home?

I saw this offer at Saturn.

The laptop is just over my budget, but I would like to pay the few euro if I can get something reasonable for it. I don't know if it's worth that price. Are there any with identical data for a cheaper price?

I actually need it for home. Word, research and so on.

But my brother is in high school and I think he needs a bit stronger laptop.

Is this laptop good with this configuration, or are there any better ones?

The data actually sounds pretty good!

I'm not very familiar with the built-in graphics card, but the processor and the rest look very solid.

A much cheaper model is also sufficient for Word and research.

So 400-500 euro are absolutely sufficient.

Ryzen 5, / Intel i5 8GB RAM and a SSD, that's all you need.

Let's put it this way:

A lot of hard disk space (total over 1.1 TB)
RAM corresponds to the recommendation for a gaming PC

You will hardly find a better laptop under 1,000 euro.

Eg

Top parts for different areas of application.

What bothers me is that the SSD storage capacity is only 128GB and the rest is probably HDD. Is it bad?

It has both advantages and disadvantages

I would rather buy the model with a GTX 1650 graphics card and a 512 GB SSD. The offer here unfortunately has only 8 GB of RAM instead of 16. Nevertheless, it is better in the long term to have a better graphics card (you can also play the latest PC games) and to buy another 8 GB for about 40 euro, because the graphics card can't be replaced.
