Replica battery works despite less power?

I bought a replica battery for my old Lenovo T60 notebook with the same FRU part number as the original. The new battery only has 48Wh- 4400mAh. The original battery, which is now being said goodbye, initially had 56.16 Wh. Will the replica battery still work in the notebook or do I have to buy a battery with 56 Wh? But that's too expensive for me and is no longer worth it with the old notebook.
