Transfer cell phone / laptop screen to TV?

I would like to connect my cell phone (Huawei p smart 2019) or my laptop (Lenovo) to my TV in such a way that I can do what I want. Watch on the laptop that is being streamed / projected onto TV. I hope it is understandably explained haha😊

I read something on the internet about a certain cable (HDMI, also USB, HML, etc) and apps but I don't want to buy any cable if it doesn't work 😅 I would also have a DVD player, if that was mine what brings no idea.

So do you have any experience with it? Do you know which cable I need or whether there's a specific app (at least I can't find one for my Grundig tv)? Or do I have to select a specific signal source on the TV?

In any case, you can transfer your laptop to your TV / monitor, etc. With an HDMI cable.

If the TV is smart and has an internet connection, there are usually some Smartshare options. Either directly on the TV (as with my LG), or via an appropriate app.

If the TV does not offer the option, you either need a stick that can do it, such as a Chromecast or FireTV, or just a suitable cable.
