Is it better to program on a pc or a laptop?

he

Depends on the PC and notebook.

It doesn't make any difference at all. The software does not care whether it is created on a PC or laptop.
If you are thinking of the size - you can also connect a large monitor to the laptop and, above all, an external keyboard / mouse.

no

Depends on your keyboard and screen. It's usually more comfortable on a PC

Depending on if you program games, you prefer a PC with a lot of power. Gaming laptops usually cost more. Otherwise it is what you want it to be. I started with a laptop (with an extra keyboard and monitor). I've been using a computer for 2 years now and I'm simply more satisfied with the computer. That's my opinion on that. Your experience could of course differ

Software is software, it runs where it should run, regardless of whether it is a PC or laptop

Now the question arises as to whether you only want to / have to program at home or on the go, at the customer's.

Otherwise it is a question of ergonomics, although you can of course buy external input and output devices for the laptop. Then the question is where to put the laptop and where there's space for it. Besides my large monitor, desktop speakers, keyboard and mouse, I wouldn't have a place to put a laptop here that doesn't bother me, the tower on the floor is more appropriate.

Then it is a question of performance and whether a more powerful PC makes sense for the programming that you do yourself.

Then you have the price, where there's usually a little more performance with desktops for the same money.

Regardless of these factors, it doesn't really matter. The code doesn't care where it's running and neither does the IDE.
