I exploited my old MSI laptop while I noticed that I could indeed expand the screen… What I've done but I do not know now… Does anyone have an idea? Could not I use it as a screen for my Android tablet… What ports do I need a dock for? Am computer technically unfortunately a blank slate but maybe someone can help me on the jumps…
You can make a monitor out of it. Behind the display you will find a model number such as. LP156WH2, search on ebay for "LP156WH2 Controller Board".

I would grab an old MSI laptop and install the thing there.
Maybe you happened to lie around such a laptop that lacks a display. Would massively increase the benefits of the device.
you can also make a lamp out of the old screen.
I had seen a video somewhere on YT, where 4 such monitors were taken and were linked to a four-part "window". Unfortunately, I do not find this tutorial anymore, but that was similar to this one.
This number unfortunately does not say anything, it may be a serial number, not a model number.
