My laptop (Windows 10) simply can't be reset to factory settings. I've tried everything, but to no avail. I tried any steps that were on the Internet, but to no avail.

Does anyone have any tips on what I can do?

Gu

Have you already started the BIOS with F4?

Then use the tool to create a bootable USB stick here. https://www.microsoft.com/.../windows10

Back up your own files and boats then the laptop from the stick. Delete all partitions on the system LW. The setup can then automatically create new partitions. You don't need the old ones anymore.

Uhh, sounds very complicated… But I'm trying.

Instructions for Win 10 installation. https://www.computerbild.de/...65010.html

Dr

If you want to reset your notebook to the factory settings, it is actually a good idea to do a complete reinstallation, because you will be right up to date. When resetting, the outdated image is always loaded.

You can download the current Windows 10 disk image for free using the Media Creation Tool from the Microsoft servers. Optionally as an image in ISO format or immediately bootable unpacked on a USB stick.

After you have prepared a USB stick, you can perform a clean Windows 10 installation from it. The installation routine guides you step-by-step through the installation process and can then continue with the setup.

When the installation is complete, it usually only takes a short moment and missing drivers are automatically reloaded in the background. If this is not the case, you can still install drivers manually.

If something does not work later or if you have any questions, just get in touch here and we can give you tips, tricks and / or solutions. Most of it is self-explanatory anyway.

You have to agree to any license terms

Dr

Yes, you have to agree to them. This is always the case, at least with commercial software. Agree to the license agreement and continue the installation afterwards.
