Do you have laptop recommendation for the university?
If you only need the device for simple office applications, I would opt for a device with an Intel Core i3 processor or something equivalent from AMD. Then at best 8 GB of RAM and an SSD. Possibly also take a look at the battery life, since you probably need the device then some hours on the road. Alternatively, a multimedia device with an Intel Core i5, if you need a little more power for more complex applications and, for example, use multiple applications at the same time.
When you go to college you usually have little money. Anyway, you always hear that way. Since just a simple windows laptop is enough. Everything is overpriced at apple.
