Laptop for music production and university?

I just finished school and now I want to study too. Since my old laptop couldn't even open my DAW (FL Studio) anymore, it's time to buy a new laptop. Of course, this should also be suitable for the university.

I thought of a laptop that:

min. 16 GB RAM
min. 512 GB storage
a very good CPU
min. Intelcore i5 (best i7, 9th generation)
has a battery that is sufficient for the university.

I have no idea whether these demands are sufficient for music production and university or maybe even too exaggerated. I would like a laptop that lasts for several years and does not hang when I produce music.

The Lenovo Legion Y540 and the Razer Blade 15 come close to my expectations. Even if the latter exceeds the price of 1500 euro.

Do you have any other suggestions / recommendations for laptops that meet my expectations?

You don't need the best laptop. The specs are good.

You just have to think that you won't get very far with 512gb when it comes to large plugins

Lol. You can't exaggerate with the equipment for music production. With enough plug-ins, you get every laptop to its limits.

I had a Lenovo Yoga 720 for a few years. FL went well there, but my skills were also limited and therefore the number of plug-ins and the size of my projects. After 4 years the TouchPad broke.

I now have a MacBook Pro. I9, 16gb, 1TB. It is expensive, but the saying "who saves twice pays" has a real essence. The Apple computers are very high quality and durable. I don't know anyone who isn't happy with their Mac. After 10 years, the parts still run as on day 1. In addition, the operating system for work processes and music production is so much simpler.

Conclusion: I have a Windows PC for gaming and a Mac for working. If I had to make a decision, I would do without the PC. Couldn't make me dependent on cheap hardware and a buggy operating system anymore.
