Hard disk path can't be changed, Epic Launcher requests D:?

I have connected some external hard drives and now my main hard drive is no longer provided with D but E.

I wanted to change it, but there was no choice. Then the Epic Launcher stopped working and wanted to reinstall it. He asked for drive D, but that's now E. Then I wanted to uninstall it, but the program also asked for a path with D.

I then deleted the Epic Launcher on E and also in the Windows directory of C.

But after I downloaded the launcher again and wanted to install it, it still wants to access D for whatever reason. Does anyone have a solution for me?

I had deactivated some services after reinstalling the laptop, is it possible that the directory program can't access the hard drives and if so, does anyone know the service? Diskmgmt.msc

Hy,

when you install a program, the OS remembers in the registry where you last installed the program.

However, it should always ask where you want to have it installed. If this is not the case like you, you could change the drive letter in the disk management or with the cmd tool Diskpart.

He will now automatically look for the program in your D: drive, which is why he won't find it.

As I said, try changing the drive letter or setting the program to C: during the installation
