So far I've always connected a second monitor to my laptop and expanded the display. So far it worked great, but since yesterday it just doesn't work anymore… I updated my laptop and tried to restart the devices and plugged in the cable again and everything is still not working. I can either view the display on one or the other monitor, but whenever I want to select Expand display, it immediately jumps back to "only see on screen 1" and it says in yellow that my settings could not be saved…

I'm assuming that the screen itself works perfectly on another PC and that you have already tried a different screen cable. If not, then make up for it.
