Why can I no longer connect to the Wi-Fi properly (cell phone)?

Re

Somehow I have not been able to connect my cell phone to the Wi-Fi properly since this morning. I changed my Wi-Fi password this morning. At first it was actually the internet access password… I don't know now that I've changed more, so at least not consciously. Oh,. Except that I threw my old laptop out of the list, where all connected (registered?) Devices are listed.

It only lasted half an hour and since then it has not really connected. It doesn't work on my other phone either.

I'm always asked to register. With the best will in the world, I have no plan for exactly where to register.

According to the 1&1 website, Wi-Fi is active, so I don't think it's because of the router. And now suddenly a red light came on at Info on the router. What am I missing?

I don't even get to the "http://Fritz.box" setup page. I thought I might have to register there, but it doesn't connect.

I will then only be forwarded to the page in the picture attachment.

Can someone help me?

Ja

Try 192.168.178.1 in the browser. According to the message, they are not correct for Internet access.

At 1und1.de you can see them.

Vi

You write yourself:

At first it was actually the internet access password…

Of course, you will no longer be able to access the Internet without correct access data.

If you try to access the Fritzbox on your cell phone, you have to briefly switch off mobile data.

Fill out the access data correctly again (the one you got from 1&1) and then it works again.

Re

I've already tried that. It can't be reached.

Yes, at 1&1 I can also register. And then?

Re

I can register with 1&1. But when I turn off my mobile data and click on Wi-Fi, the same thing happens. Come back to the page with the error code.

Sc

The picture shows that the access data for 1&1 are not correct. Has nothing to do with the Wi-Fi.

Re

But at 1&1 I can still register. Or where do you mean

Ja

Then you go to the contract and under "Settings & Services" you can reset the password for internet access. If you do not have a PC, the status for the network connection must be somewhere on the cell phone (WLAN connected). It should be something like 192.168.x.x, note the number and then enter 192.168.x.1 in the browser. So your cell phone shows e.g. 192.168.0.44 to 192.168.0.1 for the Fritzbox. If you come into the Fritzbox you can enter the password for the Internet access under "Internet" "access data"… The Wi-Fi must be active, otherwise you will not be able to access the Fritzbox

The picture you posted shows nothing of your Wi-Fi. There seems to be something wrong on your smartphone. Ever tried to delete and re-create the connection?

Re

I see. Yes, I've already tried a new connection. Didn't bring anything. You mean I have to make any settings on my cell phone?

Incidentally, my Smart TV is now no longer connected, even though it runs via LAN. And the info lamp on the router has been red since last night.

Sc

The router menu should show what the red lamp wants to see.
