Is there a way to play a cd if the laptop doesn't have a cd opening or what that means? Something you can then at least connect externally via usb?
Why are many pcs and laptops built without them recently?
External CD / DVD drive exists. But it costs something.
Yes with an external drive
Many don't have any more because fewer people use cd / dvds these days
For example something like this:
Called itself an external CD / DVD drive and can be connected via USB.
We no longer built it because of it
- takes up a lot of space
- Consumes a lot of electricity in operation
- is hardly used these days
Drivers can be downloaded, Windows can be installed from a USB stick, films can be streamed… CDs / DVDs are becoming increasingly less important.
Yes, there are also external CD / DVD / BluRay drives.
Often we don't use it anymore because most people don't use it anymore anyway and you can save the money for it. This also saves a lot of valuable space in the device, especially with laptops.
