I have a working laptop… I have Sims 4 and Minecraft. Sims 4 without extensions or mods usually works quite well. But chops every now and then. But Minecraft doesn't work. It chops so much that it has a half-second delay offline, without shader, without texturepack. Sometimes even a second or longer. What can I do? (There's not enough money for a real PC)
Well, if your laptop doesn't have decent hardware, the game won't run properly. That's the way it is. You will have to upgrade sooner or later.
Without more detailed information about the laptop, there's not much to say because the sims are running, minecraft should also work, try turning down the render distance and generally putting everything down, do you have the java or bedrock edition?
Have you tried Optifine in Minecraft? Or do you play on the latest version, because Optifine is not yet there for. Then you have a few more setting options in the graphics settings. You can get good performance out of it.
Have you ever looked at Google Stadia? Is a new game streaming service where you can play everything on the internet on the best settings, if you don't mind small latencies and you have a good internet connection 👍, it also works on TV or mobile phone.
