In the home office I work with a Surface, which is connected to two screens, a mouse and a keyboard via a Microsoft Surface Dock.
In my private life I use a Macbook and a Windows laptop.
Is it possible to connect the dock to the Macbook or laptop via an adapter?

The Surface Dock connector is an MS connector and I've never seen an adapter for it.
No, you need your own dock for the macBook.
It is best to buy a USB-C dock right away if your macbook already has a USB-C connector
