Linux, put page?

On my laptop, I was always able to reduce the size of the page in the upper left corner and then save (save) on the lower left and open a second page and then choose between the two.

Does not work anymore, if I want to make the page smaller and lower left, it is gone.

Who knows?

For this one would first have to know what this behavior shows (and which Linux).
