For some time now I have had the feeling that whenever I work on the notebook with WIN10 Pro with Firefox (I have already noticed this on another PC notebook), at some point I have problems with the WLAN. I can no longer get on the net. This happens after about 1-2 hours. If I do the same with Google Chrome, then these problems do not arise. And, if I restart this device, no matter which device is showing the error, I will be back online.
Can someone confirm this to me who has exactly the same problem, or is it just me?
Firefox is generally not what it used to be for a long time. Chrome is much faster and better - but it also needs more RAM.
Firefox is probably blocking sites it believes are potentially dangerous. Have you taken a closer look at the settings?
The browsers are becoming more and more annoying. I use Opera on the desktop. It hasn't bothered me yet.
So Firefox shouldn't have any influence on the WLAN connection itself.
If the Internet only stops working in Firefox, there may be an error in the profile of FF. With other browsers etc. The internet should still work.
If the WLAN itself breaks off, I would guess another error.
Thank you for your answer. I did not look at the settings in Firefox because I'm convinced that it is not the browser itself. I just notice it when I use Firefox. It is really only the Wi-Fi connection that breaks down. A very strange phenomenon.
