Mirror laptop on TV to play (Chromecast Ultra)?

Is it now possible, with the new Chromecast Ultra, to mirror the laptop onto the TV to play complex games? If it doesn't work, could someone tell me an alternative that works without an HDMI cable?

It's easy to get the desktop to TV using Chromecast. You need the Google Cast app for Chrome and a connection of your PC with Chromecast. In the Chrome browser, click on the square on the Google Cast button. There you'll see available Chromecast devices.

Now click on the right arrow symbol and click on "Cast entire Screen". In this way, you transfer the entire PC screen to your TV.

Thanks for the answer, but the question is rather whether it is "Lagfrei"?
Say whether I can reach my 60fps with certain games with the Chromecast.

St

For me it works without problems.
60FPS is always available.
Of course, the whole thing depends on your Wi-Fi.

So the Wi-Fi should not cause any problems, I have a 400 line.
what games do you run over it?
I'm somehow worried that there will be some slight delays

St

CS: GO etc. You shouldn't be playing like that. But like WoW and Co. Goes without problems.

Hmm… Okay thanks

I got the Chromecast Ultra today and tried it out right away. The problem is that I have a big delay on TV. Playing makes it impossible… Do you have an idea?

P.S. Playing WoW with it is impossible.

St

As I said, this is due to your modem or internet.
See if you have packet losses etc.

Can send you video so that you are convinced that it works.

So my internet is actually completely stable. About 350k download and 20k upload come through permanently.
chromecast is about 1.5m from the router…

very funny
