Hi
I have a laptop and 3 additional screens. However, my graphics card can only display 3 screens in total.
Can I deactivate the laptop screen and use your 3rd external monitor instead?
I use: https://www.notebooksbilliger.de/...ion+332250
for the connection.
Why disable the built-in screen?
It depends on whether you have enough connections for your screens. If your graphics card supports 3 screens, you can connect 2 additional screens.
Which operating system do you use?
Close the screens and then try it with win + P so you should then deactivate your own laptop screen, but I don't really understand it. If I want to gamble with 3 screens then I get a pc and not a laptop
I use the link given above as a docking station because I work at 3 different locations. It's not for gambling either, but for the job.
Basically, you can usually just close the screen and the laptop will automatically transfer everything to the screens.
BUT: According to the product description, the dock only supports 2 screens!
So be careful here that all devices can do the same thing.
The laptop screen is very small, so I would prefer to use one of the larger ones instead. PC is out of the question because I always have to take the laptop with me (for the job) Well, I can increase the number of connections via a docking station.
Nope, you can also simply use the integrated screen by closing "Deactivate"
Ie: if I have a docking station for 3 screens, can I deactivate the latop screen and use the external screen instead?
Yes exactly. I have an HP myself for work. Just plug it into the dock. (There are 3 screens, mouse, keyboard, LAN attached to it) Then simply close and the PC should then recognize the 3rd screen.
Oh, I'm sorry for my mistake. Close all the screens on the docking station and look in the display settings what you can do there
Thanks for your help… The problem lies in the docking station (see above post)
Oh well then you have to use your laptop as a 3rd screen
if it is larger than 14 inches that works too
Win 10
