Whenever a completed download via the Opera browser is completed, the icon in the taskbar is highlighted in red.
This looks exactly like programs crashes or displays an error message, but nothing is displayed on my computer, and the download was completed successfully.

I've reset my PC lately, but before that it was never the case, but I knew the same from my laptop, but since I reset my PC it's getting red here, too.
Does anyone know what's going on, how can I disable it?
That's what Opera does. Just as other icons flash yellow, that's just red.
That's not bad because everything is fine.
I get the same thing but it's just a solid red color. This happens after i download something. There is no error for me, but all I do is close and re-open the browser and it goes away. Really annoying.
If you clear your download history, the icon's color returns to normal. Something is missing in the background. E.g. Accessing the downloaded file should clear the notification and reset the icon.
Clear your download history and it will return to normal. (It shouldn't work this way)
