Transfer music back from iPhone to laptop?

I stupidly deleted a lot of songs from my laptop or wanted to transfer them to another drive and then deleted them and now they are suddenly missing! Can I play these songs from my iPhone back on my laptop (via iTunes?). Is it also possible to transfer the songs to another drive (D) because the space on C is exhausted?

I would start with the existing iTunes media library on a

transfer / copy another partition or hard drive or computer.

Since the risk of loss is not small, I suggest iTunes alternatives

backup files from iPhone.

The question is, what would happen to a virgin iTunes if you synced the iPhone?
